Bakeoff
Name the endpoints you are using or considering. Crosspeel pays each one, compares the responses, and returns a report showing which are serving the same thing and where the price differences are.
Reports are delivered by email. Typical delivery time is not yet measured and is stated here once it is. The endpoints you submit are probed with your payment; the resulting observations enter the public record after a seven day delay, without your name attached.

What you get
- The finding in one sentence, whether or not anything matched.
- A field comparison for every pair that matched, laid out line by line.
- A price table: each endpoint, the price paid, and its multiple against the cheapest endpoint in its match group.
- Where a match was found, the saving stated as arithmetic at a stated call volume.
- Every endpoint's full observation record, including the endpoints that matched nothing.
- The method, the depth, and the confidence the depth supports.
- What the method cannot see, in the report, next to what it found.
A report that finds nothing is delivered at full detail. It records that the endpoints submitted returned different responses, which is the answer most buyers are hoping for and is worth the same measurement.
The report ends at arithmetic. It does not recommend a vendor.
Depth and confidence
Each endpoint receives 8 distinct probe inputs. A cluster published on this site requires 30 paired observations before it is published at all, so a Bakeoff runs at reduced depth and the report states the confidence that depth supports rather than the confidence a deeper run would support.
If an endpoint does not respond
- An endpoint that cannot be reached is rejected before payment, with the reason stated.
- An endpoint that fails during probing is reported as failed, with its error, and its share of the fee is refunded.
- If fewer than two endpoints complete, the whole fee is refunded and no report is sent.
- Refunds are automatic. There is nothing to request.
